There are many things that you and your community can do to support Tarek. We ask that you do what you can.

First and foremost, Tarek has stated many times that the letters he receives from all of you are what keeps him smiling while in solitary confinement. Sending him a letter about anything.. your day, your job, your pets, a book you just read.. anything, means so much to him and to his family.

It is something that you can do in a short amount of time and makes a huge impact on Tarek's spirits. And if you don't want to send a letter via post with your name or don't want to pay for postage, you can write a message to Tarek right here on the website (under the "write Tarek" section) and we will make sure it gets to him.

• You can spread awareness about Tarek's case. We need to keep getting the word out. You can send out emails, print copies, etc of any information we have on this site. And we will have more literature coming. If you aren't sure of exactly what information to put out, just contact us and we can send you information to distribute.
  
  
• You can educate yourselves and others about your rights. Please spread the "know your rights" information to everyone in your community and act on it! Remember that talking to FBI and other law enforcement officials, especially without a lawyer, will never help you and can only hurt you and your loved ones in the end. • You can donate money through this site and encourage others to do so as well. All donations go to funding the organizing and support for Tarek and to Tarek's account in prison to buy stamps, phone calls, etc.
  
  
• You can attend future events and court dates, which we will keep posted on the site, for Tarek and other prisoners. And please encourage others to do so too.
  
  
• You can HOST an educational event/fundraiser at your school or in your community. This includes a "know your rights" educational event (we can come to your space and do a workshop if you need). And don't worry, because it doesn't have to be a difficult thing to do. Just contact us and we will help you get an event together.
  
  
• You can participate in pressure campaigns by calling in or writing letters to the prison, the judge, government officials. We will, of course, keep you posted about the need for this in the future.
  
  
• You can sign up for the newsletter/announcement list which can be found on the left-hand side of this site. This will allow you to receive updates and announcements about Tarek, as well as find out more info about all of the above mentioned things that you can do to support Tarek.
